After being assaulted twice while running, Dena Lewis embarked on a mission to find a solution for safe running and created Running Mate. Running Mate provides real-time, on-demand, and verified safe running "mates" whenever you need them. Both runners and mates undergo thorough background checks to ensure safety, and mates are compensated for their services. Think of us as the Uber for runners, offering a reliable and secure way to enjoy your runs without fear!

We're thrilled to announce our upcoming launch in the Boston, Austin, and Tampa markets and are eager to collaborate with local run groups, including participation in our beta test launch.   • Mates will receive a 55% commission on their runs.

  • We want to ensure we have the ideal mate to runner ratio before launching in a city. The best way to get runnning mate to your city is to spread the word and tell your friends to download our app and sign up to be a runner or a mate!

  • We have partnered with Checkr, a fast, extensive background check that evaluates every runner and mate on the app. We are extremely committed to runners’ safety!
