CT getting a group of women together in St. Pete, FL to get their concealed carry permits.

“For me, I have only recently discovered running. On June 16, 2024, I ran a mile for the first time since college: 18 years. I am now trying to re-define the sport. Growing up big, it was not my forte. It has taken a lot of work to get back to a place where I can choose to run. And I am super proud of those efforts. Living in St Pete, I have been able to become an ambassador with a race team and an exec member of a run club. I LOVE the people I now consider teammates and family. I LOVE the fact that I can inspire hope in others who’ve been told they can’t run.

As I mentioned I have always been a big guy. I also have three older sisters. So being the “big brother” was always a point of pride. Now that I’ve grown, my hope is that my nieces can feel just as safe as my nephews feel when they run.”
