Dr. Rachel Heller
Hi there! My name is Dr. Rachel Heller!
Running has always been a passion of mine. It was my first introduction to fitness. It was a way I got to learn how to push myself and prove that I could do more than I thought I could. Through running, I found my love of fitness which lead me to discovering my desire to be a physical therapist. Running, for me, has now turned into a way to meet others, connect, and create community.
As a runner and a woman, I’ve felt unsafe running before - causing me to cut my run short, run without my headphones, or just feel so anxious the whole time (making the run not enjoyable AT ALL!) I am passionate about women’s safety because we should be able to go for a run to exercise our body after a busy day and not have to worry about becoming a victim to these awful attacks.
